The Battle

This was an interesting photo outing to say the least. My intent as I left home was to hopefully get some photos of lightning as a thunder storm moved over Boise. Instead of cooperating with me and staying over the city so I could take its picture the storm decided instead to come right over top of the hill I had chosen. I was faced with a dilema either stay and take pictures of the sunset that was happening across the valley and risk being struck by lightning on top of my hill, or run for my life. As you can see the sunset won the battle.
